Arc Raiders Stash Efficiency Guide: Maximise Every Run's Value
Quick Answer
Stash efficiency is about value-per-slot and value-per-kg. Sell high-value, low-weight items immediately. Keep crafting materials that bottleneck recipes you're actively using. Never hold items 'just in case'.
Step-by-Step Guide
Calculate Value Per Kilogram
Divide sell value by weight. Arc Cells: 4200 / 0.4 = 10,500/kg. Reinforced Casing: 2800 / 3.0 = 933/kg. Always favour high ratio items when space is limited.
Use the Stash Calculator Before Every Sell Run
Before clearing your stash, run your inventory through the Stash Value Calculator. It will flag items where breakdown value exceeds sell value (Thermal Core is the key example) and tell you exactly what each stack is worth.
Set a Weekly Crafting Target
Identify which crafting recipe you need this week. Only keep materials toward that recipe. Everything else sells. Hoarding 'might need' materials is a wealth trap.
The Thermal Core Exception
Thermal Cores are worth more broken down (2100) than sold whole (3800)... except the breakdown gives you Heat Coils and Power Residue. Only break them if you have active use for those components. Otherwise, sell.
Batch Your Selling Runs
Don't sell after every extraction. Batch items until you have a full sell load. Trader refresh timers mean frequent small sells can leave value on the table.
Never Break Down Quest Items
Data Chips and Memory Cores have negligible breakdown value (50 and 200 respectively) vs sell prices of 2100 and 12000. These are sell-only items. No exceptions.
Pro Tips
- ▸Energy Residue is abundant — sell it immediately, never stash it long-term.
- ▸A full stack of Arc Fragments (50x180) is worth 9000 in a 0.5kg slot. Exceptional ratio.
- ▸Reinforced Casing is valuable but heavy. Skip it on tight extractions.
- ▸Fusion Cells are sell-first items. Don't sit on them.
